​The Service Priority Review is consulting widely with government and non-government stakeholders and may invite submissions to assist in forming its report to the State Government. Consultation is focusing on the review’s Terms of Reference and will ensure the advice to the Government is tested, benchmarked and fit for purpose.


The Service Priority Review panel is consulting with:

  • Public sector directors general
  • Public sector employees
  • Community services sector
  • Government trading enterprises
  • Service providers
  • Service recipients
  • Business and industry leaders
  • Unions

Consultation Methods

The Service Priority Review is using a range of methods to consult and engage with stakeholders, including workshops, forums, meetings and calling for submissions.

Consultation Themes

The panel is currently focusing on four major themes to inform its review. These themes have emerged from the panel's early consultation with stakeholders and align with the review's Terms of Reference:

  • customer-focused and outcomes-based service design and delivery
  • more efficient and effective systems and processes
  • contemporary, adaptable and high performing workforce
  • strong and strategic leadership
