Objectives of the WA Government Libraries Information Network
- To represent the interests and concerns of state government libraries and information services in wider government forums.
- To promote the role and contribution of government library services to the effective management of government services and resources.
- To provide a forum in which issues and policies which affect state government library and information services are debated.
- To encourage co-operative schemes and resource sharing activities.
- To foster and facilitate information exchange.
