The Department of the Premier and Cabinet (DPC) offers an exciting and challenging Graduate Development Program with a focus on promoting your personal learning, developing your career and giving you a chance to make a difference in Western Australia. We provide passionate and committed graduates with the skills and experience they need to be future leaders in the public sector.

At the centre of Government in Western Australia, the Department of the Premier and Cabinet gives you a chance to work on big and small, critical and contentious issues relating to the economy, transport, education, health, the environment, and law and order - just to name a few. Graduates in recent years have worked on topics including the National Disability Insurance Scheme, creating marine parks in the Kimberley, reforms to bush fire prevention and the ANZAC centenary celebrations in Albany. As a Graduate Development Officer you will work with senior officers and meet with people from other government agencies, the community and private sector companies, as they try to shape the development of answers to public policy problems across the State. 

Applications for the 2014 Graduate Development Program open on Friday 5 April 2013.

The minimum eligiblity for applications is a three year degree completed in 2012, or a degree that will be completed in 2013.
