Disability Access and Inclusion Plan (DAIP) 2007-2011

The Department of the Premier and Cabinet (DPC) has developed a Disability Access and Inclusion Plan (DAIP) to ensure that people with disabilities have the same opportunity as other people to access our services and information, wherever applicable.

We are committed to improving the delivery of our services, particularly where those services are accessed and used by people with disabilities.

While generally DPC has limited contact with the public and therefore people with disabilities, the following areas do provide some services direct to the public:

  • Public Sector Management Division (Recruitment - particularly for entry-level (Level 1) positions and traineeships in the State public sector, which includes programs for people with disabilities and Indigenous people);
  • State Administration Division (Provides a facility that enables the public to convey their views to the Premier through the Community Access Line and Correspondence Secretariat);
  • State Law Publisher (Prints and sells publications such as Legislation - Acts, Bills, Regulations, Forms - Government Gazettes, Hansard and other State Government publications); and
  • The Constitutional Centre of Western Australia (Provides educational programs and exhibitions related to the Western Australian and Commonwealth Constitutions).

Other functions such as the Office of e-Government, Office of Road Safety and the Policy Division consult various sectors in the community when developing high level Government policy in their respective areas of expertise.

The DPC invites people with disabilities, their family and carers, disability organisations and other interested parties with any inquiries to see the contact details below.
