MR PETER CONRAN AM

Mr Conran is a lawyer with over 30 years experience in senior positions with the Western Australian, Northern Territory and Commonwealth governments.

Immediately prior to his current role as Director General of the Department of the Premier and Cabinet, he was Director of Concept Economics an economic consultancy firm based in Canberra.

Mr Conran was the Secretary to Cabinet and Head of the Cabinet Policy Unit in the office of former Prime Minister John Howard from 2003 to 2007 and a Senior Adviser in the Prime Minister's Office from 2001 to 2003.
